At our clinic, FUE is not just a technique — it’s a legacy.

We introduced FUE hair transplant in Hong Kong as early as 2006 — when few even knew the term. As one of the first pioneers of FUE in Asian hair, we helped shape how the world now views follicular unit extraction in Chinese patients. We’re also among the very few centers offering the FUE-FUT Combined Technique, maximizing graft survival for complex cases.

Innovation That Changed the Field — “Sequential FUE Technique”

In 2018, we presented our “Double Gun Technique” at the ISHRS Annual Scientific Meeting in Canada — a breakthrough method using both hands for simultaneous excision and extraction.

The ISHRS FUE Committee later renamed it “Sequential FUE Technique” and recognized us as the first in the world to describe it.

Inventor of the Funnel FUE Punch

FUE’s biggest challenge has always been graft transection. That’s why we engineered our own surgical punch with a funnel-shaped opening to reduce trauma.

Now known globally as the Funnel FUE Punch, it’s adopted by hair surgeons around the world — but developed right here at our clinic.

Publication – Scientific Recognition That Spanned Continents

In 2009 we published the article “FUE: Experience in the Chinese Population” in the Medical Journal of the International Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS). Though FUE had been popular in Europe and USA, our article was the first to address the application in Chinese based on our experience. This article attracted world attention and was later included in various textbooks. Our work was even published in Korea.

We don’t just practice excellence — we teach it. We’ve shared our techniques at:

We’ve also been invited to perform live FUE surgery demonstrations in Taiwan, Thailand, and Mainland China — a level of recognition few achieve.
